These terms govern your use of 24observe (the "Service") operated by the maintainers of github.com/vikasswaminh/observe24. By creating an account or self-hosting the Service, you agree to these terms.
24observe is an observability and security platform. It includes synthetic and uptime
monitoring; log, metric, and trace ingestion with search; a SIEM with detections, correlation,
and threat-intel enrichment; an AI SOC analyst that triages incidents; an operational context
graph; and a programmable API/agent surface. We process the telemetry and configuration you send
us, store the results, and notify or act per your configuration. Both a hosted SaaS at
api.24observe.com and a self-hostable open-source distribution
are offered under the same brand. These terms apply to the hosted SaaS only — the self-hosted
distribution is provided under its own distribution terms; contact us for details.
Some features rely on third-party model providers (the AI analyst and AI-assisted configuration). Those run at config or incident time on redacted inputs; outputs are assistive and you remain responsible for verifying them before acting.

This is a summary; our full Acceptable Use Policy governs in detail. We may suspend or terminate any account that violates it without notice, and will refund any unused prepaid balance on a good-faith termination that isn't for serious abuse.
We offer a Free plan and paid monthly plans (Team, Business, Scale). Paid plans are recurring subscriptions billed in advance through our payment provider, Dodo Payments; we don't store your card details. Each plan includes monthly allowances (e.g. monitors, log volume, AI investigations, connected endpoints) shown on the pricing page.
Log ingestion above your plan's included allowance is billed as usage-based metered charges at the per-GB rate on the pricing page; other allowances are enforced as caps (an HTTP 429 — they do not silently auto-upgrade you). You can cancel, change plan, or update payment any time from the in-product billing portal. Cancellation, refunds, downgrades, and failed-payment handling are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
You own the monitor configs and check-result data in your account. We make no claim to it. You can export it at any time via the API. On account deletion, all of your data is purged within 30 days from production and within 90 days from backups.
We target 99.9% monthly availability for the hosted Service. There is no formal SLA credit on the free or paid plans today — if you need a contractual SLA, self-host or contact us about an enterprise tier (not yet generally available).
The Service is provided "as is." Our total liability for any claim is capped at the greater of (a) what you paid us in the preceding 12 months and (b) US$50. We are not liable for missed alerts, false alerts, downstream consequential damages, or anything covered by force majeure (provider outages, regional network failures, etc.). Treat 24observe as a best-effort second pair of eyes — not as your only layer of monitoring.
Either side may terminate at any time. You can delete your account from the dashboard. We may terminate for breach of section 2, non-payment, or to discontinue the Service entirely (with ≥30 days notice + data export window).
We will email account owners ≥30 days before a material change to these terms. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
